Our Christmas Tree Lot is Troop 11’s only annual fundraiser and we greatly appreciate your support. The proceeds are used to support youth development, leadership training, scouting activities and community engagement. Only about 20% of the funds raised go to static costs such as equipment and administrative costs. ~80% of the funds raised help underwrite the cost for scouts and volunteers to attend our very active camping and high adventure programs. It is the Troop’s goal to be sure all troop members can enjoy and benefit from our program without it becoming a financial burden for the families, and having a successful Tree Lot Fundraiser is critical to us continuing to achieve this goal.
We use the funds we raise for:
Purchasing and maintaining the Troop's camping equipment.
Troop and Patrol leadership training opportunities.
Character building activities.
Scout skills training – Cooking, camping, first aid and much more!
Weekend Camping trips and week-long Summer Camp.
High adventure trips – The troop's most recent treks were to Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks in 2023, Philmont in 2021 (a twelve day, 50+ mile backpacking trek) and to Alaska in 2019 (including a 5-day backpacking trek in the Chugach National Forest and visits to Kenai Fjords National Park and Denali National Park). You can find the full list high adventure trips Troop 11 has taken over the years on the High Adventure Trips page.
Eagle Leadership/Service projects. The Service Projects page lists some of the troop's most recent projects to serve the community.
